RUSH CHI SIGS
Chi Sigma Alpha is an Asian Interest (but not exclusive!) sorority at the University of Washington. We hold rush at the beginning of every fall and winter quarter. These events are non-committal and we encourage everyone to come out to meet sisters of the house and other rushees. We are so excited to meet you at our next rush! Follow our Instagram to stay updated!

FAQs
-
Rush is a time for you to get to know the sisters of Chi Sigma Alpha, and for us to get to know you. After rush, there are interviews with each rushee. After interviews, if we feel like you are a good fit for our house, we will extend a bid to you, and you can decide if you would like to accept or decline our bid. If you accept the bid, you will begin new member education, which is a process through which you will gain sisterhood and learn more about our house.

Rush is a week long time with activities and it is no commitment. If you fulfill the attendence we wil extend a chance to interview but it is completely up to the attendee to accept the interview or not.
-
Although Chi Sigma Alpha prides itself on being an Asian Interest sorority, we are NOT Asian exclusive. We accept anyone who upholds our ideals of leadership and sisterhood.

You will get back as much as you put in. It's your choice how much time you are willing to put into the house, but remember that the more you put in, the more you will get out of it.
-
Active dues are paid to the house twice a year, but it's obviously much lower than dues for mainstream houses, since we don't need to pay for food and housing expenses. If you have problems paying dues, we can work out a plan to help you financially if you are unable to pay the fee. We wouldn't kick someone out just because they are unable to pay dues!
